Services available:

A personal project manager (PM) will be assigned as your single point of contact for everything related to your project. Consider your PM as a part of your design team, who will be available as a resource and partner with deep knowledge of your task. Your PM will produce professional CAD (computer aided design) drawings to display the essential components of your project’s architecture. They will ensure no detail is missed, and are here to help you achieve success in your renovation endeavors.

Your PM will assist in determining and defining the following details:                       

• Identify the fume hood and sink locations. You should also consider the proximity to existing drain and water service, as this can drive costs up.
• Define the room dimensions. Are you remodeling an existing space? Will walls/doors be added or removed? Is this a new space that has not been constructed yet? You should also consider the proximity to service locations, such as gas, electrical, etc, as this will affect the budget.
• Determine the location of workspace within the defined space divisions, as well as define how that workspace will be utilized. Some examples of definitions could include “Open Bench Space,” “Equipment,” “HPLC/GC,” etc.
• Define areas best suited for:

• • Modular Laboratory Furniture/Traditional Fixed Casework
  • Mobile solutions (such as “mobile instrument cart”).
  • Tables – to maximize bench space where under counter storage is not necessary.
  • Knee Spaces/Desk Areas.

• Note areas where you would want wall storage, upper storage, or shelving installed.

Once you have compiled all the definitions and notations, forward the defined information to your PM. You can expect a quick turnaround of a “generic” drawing, which we advise marking up as you make your selection out of our extensive cabinet catalog and through the entire thought process of your lab planning. You can opt to skip the “generic” drawing and choose cabinets from your own handwritten notes. Can’t find a specific cabinet? No problem! We can custom make almost anything. Just ask your PM, who will work closely and professionally with you to get the drawing right.
